This was one of the most beautiful motels we have ever stayed at! The original house and gardens are a sight to behold, we spent an hour just walking and enjoying all the plants! The rooms were so clean and tidy, just the right size for a night stay on our road trip. Bill was so awesome, and shared some great history with us! We will definitely be returning soon!

We have stayed here in the Summer for 3 years in a row. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The owner is very friendly. The grounds are unbelievable with flower gardens everywhere. It is beautiful and peaceful. They have a nice outdoor seating area with tables and chairs. The town is charming, with restaurants, bars, and lakefront all within a couple of blocks. Great place to stay, great location. We love coming here.
This feels like a special place. I’ve twice had an extended stay in the same room. The gardens are lush, the room is clean, the people are kind, and the location near to the lake is fantastic.
What a wonderful experience. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to view their flower gardens. The host was very accommodating. And the woman that takes care of the housekeeping she was also the Gardner, What a pleasant person and willing to assist if needed. I had forgotten my food in the refrigerator. She tried to call me a couple times but it did not go through. I did come back for my food and containers..She had put them in a box and save them for me. (I was already thirty miles away when I realized, my fault, total of 90 m. But it was a pleasant drive both ways) Microwave and small refrigerator in the room.. I have to say it was one of the most comfortable rooms I've ever stayed in. Nice rich carpeting which had a unbelievable soft padding underneath. The mattress was right up there with the top-of-the-line hotels. A large Screen TV mounted on a wall. Definitely would not hesitate to go back. It's a small town but very accessible to the amenities that it has to offer
